Consumables, with or without our cleaning
Sacramento Janitorial Co can take restroom consumables off your purchasing list, whether or not we also do the cleaning. We buy them, bring them in and load them where people use them. Each product has an assigned place:
- Bath tissue for each stall, plus a backup roll on the holder
- Rolled or folded towels at restroom and breakroom sinks
- Liquid or foam hand soap beside every faucet
- Hand sanitizer at entrances, reception counters and elevator lobbies
- Toilet seat covers in each stall
- Can liners for desk and restroom bins, and heavy-duty trash bags for kitchens, docks and outdoor containers
- Wall-mounted dispensers for tissue, towels, soap and sanitizer, which our crew provides and hangs
Restocking on a janitorial visit, if you choose it
If we clean for you and you pick our products, restocking is a set step rather than an afterthought; if you stick with your own stock, the crew reloads from that. After a restroom’s fixtures, mirrors and floor are finished, the crew member opens every dispenser and reloads anything getting low, so a half-used holder is still filled before tomorrow’s rush. Fresh liners go into the bins, seat covers are replenished, and a dispenser that sticks or leaks is written up for the supervisor instead of waiting for staff to find it.
The sanitizer stations at the entries and the towel and soap units at the breakroom sink are handled before the crew moves to the next area. The complete visit is described on our janitorial services page. Buildings with a public counter or a shift-change rush can add midday refill rounds with day porter service.
Delivery-only supplies for self-cleaned buildings
If a custodian on your payroll or a staff rota handles the cleaning, you can still buy supplies through us. Products arrive on a cycle sized to your consumption, and your team loads the dispensers. Quantities rise or fall as headcount, hours or occupancy change, and nobody has to price-shop or place case orders one at a time.
Dispenser and refill, decided as a pair
A lot of supply waste begins with a mismatch: a towel roll one size too wide for its cabinet, soap made for a different housing, tissue that won’t feed through a jumbo holder. Every one of those ends up as dead stock in the closet. We prevent it by choosing dispenser and refill together.
During the first walkthrough we log every dispenser and how well it works. Sound units stay put and receive refills built for them. Missing, broken or undersized units are replaced with ones we supply, mounted at a comfortable height by the sink, stall or door they serve. A suite under fit-out can have dispensers hung and loaded before the tenant moves in.
A set reserve for each restroom
Each restroom has a set reserve on its shelf in the supply closet: tissue, towels, soap cartridges, seat covers and bags, scaled to its stalls, sinks and traffic. A busy lobby restroom carries more than a single-user room near the back offices.
Crews check the shelf against that level on every visit and bring it back up. If you only buy supplies from us, each delivery is sized to bring every shelf back to its level. Holding each room to its own level prevents both empty dispensers and a closet stacked with surplus.
Chores that leave the facility manager’s desk
Restroom supplies cost little but carry a long list of tasks: tracking stock, picking products, raising purchase orders, signing for deliveries, finding shelf space and fielding the complaint when a holder empties anyway. Handing supplies to us turns all of that into one relationship and one invoice, with or without our cleaning. Where our background-checked crews also clean, they can handle the refills, and supervisors review dispensers and closet shelves during quality inspections.
Breakroom food and drink is handled separately; see breakroom and pantry restocking.
Medical, school, retail and warehouse restrooms around Sacramento
In medical offices, soap and towels go fastest, because hands are washed before and after each patient; schools see the same surge around breaks and lunch. Shopping centers, restaurants and small storefronts keep restrooms open to customers for as long as the doors are open, so their use follows foot traffic rather than staff headcount.
Industrial buildings follow a different rhythm. A distribution building with locker rooms and break areas serves every shift from the same rooms, and a site mixing industrial, flex and office space can send floor crews and office staff through shared restrooms. Mixed industrial and office sites of this kind are common in North Highlands.
What goes into a supply quote
After the walkthrough you get a written figure based on:
- Headcount, plus customers and visitors
- How many restrooms, stalls and sinks there are
- The traffic each room sees
- Paper and soap grade, standard or premium
- How often stock is delivered or restocked
- Any dispensers to supply and mount
A few useful answers
Common questions.
What if a restroom runs short between janitorial nights?
We keep a set reserve on the closet shelf, so refills are close by. Buildings with heavy daytime use can add day porter rounds during open hours.
Can we keep buying some items ourselves?
Yes. We can supply the whole list, or restock part of it from products you purchase.
Can dispensers go in before a new suite opens?
Yes. We hang and load them during fit-out, so the restrooms and breakroom are stocked for opening day.
Do liners come in more than one size?
Yes. Every bin gets a liner that fits, from small desk cans up to large kitchen, dock and outdoor containers.
