A breakroom that stays full without a shopping run

When the coffee runs out at nine in the morning, the whole office notices, and someone loses an hour fixing it. Sacramento Janitorial Co takes that hour back. Our crews buy the breakroom’s food and drink, bring it to the building, put every item in its place and leave the shelves neat before they go, on a schedule fixed with you at the start.

This service covers the coffee station, the snack shelf and the fridge. Restroom paper and soap belong to a different service with a page of its own.

Built for workplaces that run more than one shift

Breakrooms at distribution buildings, dispatch offices and light-industrial sites often serve both a day crew and a swing crew working different hours from the same room. We time the restock so the room is full before the shift that leans on it hardest, and the pantry sheet can split quantities by crew so the morning shift doesn’t clear the shelf before the evening shift clocks in.

Offices on one daytime schedule can take their restock at the start of the week, before the heaviest in-office days. Whichever pattern fits, staff know which day the shelves fill up.

The pantry sheet your office signs off

Every restock runs from a one-page pantry sheet approved by your office contact. It names each item, the quantity to keep on hand, favorite flavors and roasts, and dietary needs such as gluten-free choices, oat or almond milk for the coffee, or a peanut-free rule for shared snacks. It also sets the monthly spending amount for groceries.

The sheet also records where things live: which cabinet holds the cups, which fridge shelf is for drinks, where the backup coffee sits. That way every restock leaves the room arranged the way your staff expect to find it.

Restock day

The crew checks each shelf, drawer and fridge against the sheet and fills whatever is missing. Newer stock goes behind the older stock, and anything out of date is pulled. Drinks are chilled, the coffee and tea station is refilled, and cups, plates and napkins return to their usual places.

Before leaving, the crew breaks down the delivery boxes, takes the packaging out and leaves the shelves and drawers it restocked in order, with nothing stacked in the hallway or on the counters. Any item that ran out well before restock day is noted, so the quantity on the sheet can be raised before the next order.

What goes on the shelves

Coffee usually anchors the order, whether beans, grounds or pods, alongside tea, cocoa, creamer and sugar. The cold side runs from still and sparkling water to juice, sports drinks and soda. Snacks mix salty, sweet and filling: pretzels, trail mix, crackers, protein bars and fruit cups. Paper cups, plates, utensils and napkins complete the order.

Kitchens on every floor of larger offices

Multi-building office campuses often put a kitchen on nearly every floor. A building laid out like that needs coffee, drinks and snacks on each level, which makes a single pantry sheet with per-floor quantities a practical fit. Many office campuses in Natomas follow this multi-building layout.

Smaller professional offices sometimes share one kitchenette among a few suites in the same building. The sheet can track each suite’s items separately, so every tenant pays only for its own share.

Alongside your janitorial visits

If we also clean the building, a crew visit can carry the restock, and breakroom cleaning stays part of your office cleaning. If your own staff do the cleaning, pantry restocking can be booked by itself.

For restroom tissue, hand soap and dispensers, see janitorial supplies. Taking both puts the breakroom and the restrooms on a single schedule and a single bill.

Where it fits

  • Offices where the shopping falls to whoever has a spare hour
  • Coworking floors where a stocked coffee bar comes with membership
  • Clinics and medical offices whose staff eat between appointments
  • Retail shops with a breakroom tucked into the stockroom
  • Shift workplaces where several crews share one breakroom

Pantry pricing factors

Groceries are bought within the monthly amount on the sheet. The service fee is based on:

  • How many people are in, and on which days
  • The number of breakrooms, kitchens or shifts covered
  • The products on the sheet and their grade
  • How often the shelves are restocked

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Who signs off on the pantry sheet?

Your office contact. They approve the items, quantities, dietary needs and monthly amount, and they send us any changes.

Can our day and swing shifts have different items?

Yes. The sheet can hold separate items or counts for each crew, and the restock is timed before the busier shift.

Is janitorial service required to get this?

Not at all. The restock can be a standalone service, or it can ride along with our janitorial visits.

Our team has new favorites. How do we update the sheet?

Your contact sends the item to add or drop, and the following restock is bought to the revised sheet.
